Note: The following guidelines to printing are based on the use of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.50 browser.

Printing a complete item (e.g. a paragraph, section, ruling, case etc.)

  1. Click on the content frame (right-hand side of the screen) of interest.
  2. In your Internet browser, click on File, Print, and select the All option in the Print Range section of the print panel.
Note: If you wish to print a document without the search hit graphics, click on the Clear Search button on the button bar.

Printing a selection of text

  1. Highlight the text you wish to print.
  2. In your browser, click on File, Print, and select the Selection option in the print range section of the print panel.
Note: If you wish to print a document without the search hit graphics, click on the Clear Search button on the button bar.

Printing a frame (left- or right-hand side of the screen)

  1. Single click on the frame you wish to print.
  2. Click on the Print icon on your browser's toolbar.
Note: If you wish to print a document without the search hit graphics, click on the Clear Search button on the button bar.

Printing a record of your search results

  1. On the button bar, click the Expand button on the button bar to expand all headings in the Table of Contents one level at a time.
  2. When the Table of Contents is fully expanded, print this list using your browser's print option.

Copying a selection of text into a Microsoft Word document

  1. Highlight the text you wish to copy.
  2. In your browser, click on Edit, Copy.
  3. Go to your Word document.
  4. Click on Edit, Paste.
  5. To paste the text without its formatting, click on Edit, Paste Special, and choose the Unformatted Text option from the panel.
Note: If you want to clear any search results before saving information to a Word document as the search hit graphics can interfere with subsequent operations.

Saving a selection of text

  1. Highlight the text you wish to save. You can save text from either the Table of Contents (left-hand frame) or the content frame (right-hand frame).
  2. In your browser, click on File, Save As and enter the appropriate details for creating a new file for your saved information.
