In your browser's toolbar, click on View, then Text Size, then choose a text size from the list.
Use the "and" connector to refine your results. For example, you want to find information on the tax deductibility of business entertainment and meal expenses. If you use the query entertain* and meal* you will get about 500 hits in the Electronic Tax Library. But if you search on entertain* and meal* and business , you will get about 49 hits. In effect, you are now searching within your first results list for hits only within 20 words of "business".
For information on forming effective search queries, wildcards and connectors see Forming effective search queries.
The Next Search Hit and Previous Search Hit buttons are found on either side of the search hit itself in the content frame (right-hand side of the screen).
Sometimes effective searching can be a matter of practice. However, it helps to
know some of the rules. If you think the problem may lie in the queries (words
and phrases) you are using to search on, have a look at
Forming effective search queries for more help. If you are searching
for something specific (eg a section of legislation, case, paragraph, etc) have
a look at Specific search using search forms
for more help.
If you are finding it difficult to identify a suitable search term, don't
forget that you can browse or navigate through
a book to get a better idea of the subject matter.
The index is found at the bottom of the book's Table of Contents. You may have
to scroll down to see it. However, not all books have indexes.
